I Did It for My Daughters

This year I became an Activator with SheEO and I did it for my daughters.

I came across SheEO during one of those nights where you spend way too much time on YouTube jumping from one video to the next. Some nights it's all about Carpool Karaoke, others vloggers I find entertaining and others inspiring women.

I listened as the founder, Vicki Saunders, describe how difficult it is for female entrepreneurs to secure financing and how she wanted to change this with a women-led movement of radical generosity.

I loved everything about the concept - women financing, supporting and celebrating women entrepreneurs that are building businesses that better the world - heck yeah!

After meeting Vicki Saunders at an event this year and witnessing her passion firsthand and hearing the inspiring stories of the Female Entrepreneurs, I knew I had to do my part. So I signed up on the spot.

As women, we've come a long way in business and life...and there is still a lot we can do to break old stereotypes, allow equal access to opportunities, celebrate our contributions and support each other.

The only way forward is for women to support and celebrate women for the benefit of our daughters, our nieces, our girlfriends, for us and generations of women to come.
